Zanu PF UK and Europe District Executive would like to officially advise all its members and key stakeholders that Cde Marshall Gore remains the current Chairman of the District contrary to mischievous reports circulating on social media and membership communication platforms to the effect of causing upheaval and despondency.
Following today’s extra ordinary meeting The Zanu PF UK and Europe Executive reaffirms that Cde Marshall Gore was constitutionally co-opted to the position of Chairman by majority vote on the 27th of October 2018 in line with Article 28 (264) of the Zanu PF Constitution. He remains our substantive Chairman until the next elections.
All party restructuring activities are the sole responsibilities of the NPC and any action contrary to this is a breach of the Zanu PF constitution. To this effect The Zanu PF UK and Europe Executive and Cde Marshall Gore have not received any official communication from the NPC or otherwise questioning his leadership or requesting him to step down.
We urge all members to remain calm and focused on the party business under the leadership of our Chairman Cde Marshall Gore.
