An Independent Healthcare and Corporate Governance Consultant. He has worked on a number of Corporate Governance projects. He has evaluated the boards of a number of highly capitalised organisations such as Barclays Bank. He worked on the revision of the International Internal Audit Standards with Prof Andrew Chambers. He was also involved in setting up corporate governance structures and processes for the National Service’s Clinical Commissioning Groups for England
A holder of a distinction in MSC Corporate Governance, he is also an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (CISA).
He was raised in Zanu PF, firstly by his father Mabasa Mangwana who was senior in the Party Structures in Mashava, secondly by his brother Munyaradzi Paul Mangwana whose Party credentials stand all tests. He was involved in the Kadoma ZANU PF Youth Structures in the late 1990s before his departure to the United Kingdom.
In the UK he has remained a vocal and passionate member of the Party who has solidly and diligently defended it in both private and public spheres. He led the group that sought permission from the British Government for ZANU PF to operate openly as a political party in the UK. In addition he heads the task-force that has been engaging with the British Government on the issue of sanctions against Zimbabwe. As the Chairperson of the UK Chapter he has and continues to lead the establishment of ZANU PF structures within the UK.
Nick Mangwana is married to Priscilla,they are proud parents to two boys.
